Our work: Women Empowerment

Darul Falah is committed to work towards the emancipation and empowerment of women hailing from underprivileged sections of the society. Women, who constitute nearly half the population in India, are subjected to exploitation and inequalities in the patriarchal society. We seek to establish a gender just society where every woman leads a dignified life in an environment free of violence. We consider gender- based violence to be a deep-rooted social evil which needs to be eliminated at all costs. To this end, we conduct sensitization drives on the need for women empowerment and how it will transform the trajectory of communities and the nation at large.

We sensitize women on their rights and entitlements and support women in need.

We conduct a host of activities for the welfare of women like distributing food and clothes to poor widows, helping homeless women to seek shelter in women's home, etc. We help women in distress to avail of legal aid. We also make efforts to reach out to the male members and the community at large to seek their support in our endeavour of women empowerment.
